Following the announcement on 1 April that PA Consulting and Plexal have become our new private delivery partners alongside UK Home Office, we hosted our first event together to celebrate the start of ACE’s next chapter.
On a Wednesday night in April, we marked the beginning of this exciting new phase on the rooftop of our new Waterloo home.
We heard from our Head of ACE Dr Annette Southgate, and Andrew Scurry (Director, Technology, Data and Innovation at Homeland Security Group), who spoke about the continued importance of ACE and why it is more critical than ever that government can turn to ACE to help tackle some of the UK’s toughest challenges.
Carl Roberts (Partner at PA Consulting) and Saj Huq (CEO at Plexal) then set out ACE’s ambitious plans for growth, and their vision for ACE to sit firmly at the heart of mission‑driven innovation across government.
Guests also had the opportunity to meet our customer engagement, supplier engagement and delivery teams in the Discovery Zone, learning more about our work and what lies ahead.
True to ACE’s values, the evening showcased:
Collaboration - bringing together 150 stakeholders from across government
Innovation - bringing our impact to life through improv storytellers (despite a badly behaved lift!)
Pace - delivering our first event as a new partnership in just a few short weeks
